Springdale Shuttle: Runs about every 15min

  • From hotels in Springdale & drops off at pedestrian entrance of visitor center
  • First shuttle in the morning starts 1hr after Zion shuttles start running.
    • IF you want to get in earlier:
      • Drive to visitor center via south entrance (no ranger at gate that early)
      • Park at visitor center (free) and take Zion shuttle into the Canyon
  • Fills up in peak times: closer you’re staying to visitor’s center- less likely to get on first bus
  • Leaving from visitors center to hotels:
    • Driver will ask to skip a drop off spot if no one speaks up

Zion shuttles: Runs about every 5-10 min

  • Picks up from visitor center into Zion Canyon (Gate access)
  • Peak times have long lines- will have to wait 2,3,4 buses sometimes
  • First shuttle @ 6am. Takes 30-40 min from Visitor center to last stop #9
  • Forced to depart at last stop in either direction- cant loop around
  • IMPORTANT: On the way up, the shuttle does not stop at stops 2, 3, and 8.
    • Every other stop will have 2 separate boarding zones to go up/down park
    • Prevents people from trying to skip long lines at visitor center for 2 &3
    • One time we Planned to get off at 8, but didnt realize they skip and instead was forced to get off at 9 and back of the very long line
  • Very long Lines at #9 Temple of Sinawava (narrows) keep in mind timing
