Transport
- confusing since you can drive to this location
- wont be entering the main park exactly
- Parking: 10 car lot extremely small. Handful of street parking up the rd
- Shuttle: NONE
- From Springdale- Take Zion Park Blvd all the way to trailhead parking
- Go through south entrance gate: pay/park pass to enter
- Gate not staffed before sunrise- free
- Stay on park blvd through the tunnels, to parking lot on right
FYI
- Best sunrise view so HAVE to get there early due to super small parking lot.
- Bring headlamp!
- Makes for a great elopment picture
THE HIKE
- Very short, paved stairs area to start
- Before reaching the end there’s a point where it can be hard to tell in the dark which way to go- just stay to the LEFT
- Large platform at the finish with the sun rising behind you so pics are great
