Adding Extra Machu Picchu Visit

- Adding extra night In Aguas & additional visit to Machu Picchu
- Aguas Accommodation: Stay north of river- further away from loud train
- Decreases your chance of coming all this way and its cloudy
- Dry Season: May – October (even dry season can get cloudy)
- Rainy Season: November – April
One day could be very cloudy
Next day very clear
Change of Schedule
- Need to coordinate with Alpaca or tour company in advance
- Additional visit= additional permit and changing train ticket back to Cusco
- Important: timed entry options start at 6am (7am is best)
- Remember that is for Machu entry and shuttle is earlier
- Alpaca handles everything: bags, duffle, train & shuttle tickets etc
- No guide for additional visit or to help get on shuttle
At the Ruins FYI
- Your entry ticket has 45min entry limit
- 7am= you have until 745am to enter
- No time limit once inside the ruins
- Circuit entry
- 1&2 entrance left side up the stairs
- 3 entrance ground level on right
- Once inside dont waste time- sprint to the top view point
- Important: Circuit Paths are ONE WAY
- Once you leave a section theres no going back
- NO BATHROOMS inside ruins
