- Recommend doing half- medium difficulty
- High rain area=VERY slippery & narrow at points, especially as you get higher

Parking and Trailhead
- Off Bethells Rd, two lots. Trailhead starts from lot
- 1 Te Henga Walkway Parking
- 2 Lake Wainamu Car Park& Entrance
THE HIKE
- Trailhead from parking lot- well labeled, fence entrance
- Sign gives distances for halfway or entire length
- Walk along mountainside before turning right along the coastline
- Eventually there’s a bench stop overlooking Oneil bay.
- Continue on- path gets narrow and very slippery at points
- Recommend stopping at Raetahinga Point and turning around
