Hobbits Hideaway(in victoria park):”Get off the road” & Frodo tree
- “LOTR Car park” on Gmaps- NOT a parking area, it’s the start of the trail
- Sign will direct to filming locations
- Actual Parking in Gmaps: Next to bus stop “Alexandra Road opposite SPCA”
- Small lot- sometimes need shoulder parking down the road
LOTR Car Park trailhead leads to a fork in the road
Left: Frodo Reading Tree
- Few meters down on the left can be easy to miss
- ***Will approach rear end of the tree
- Need to swing around to the front for photo
Right: “Get off the road” Hideaway and bench with Samwise quote
- Slight uphill- bench on right with Samwise quote “furthest I’ve ever been”
- Directly infront of bench is path where frodo says “get off the road”
- Directly left is Hideaway -looks a little different without CGI but you can tell
