Queenstown= Bungy Capital of the World
2 jump locations: NEVIS and Kawarau Bridge
1)NEVIS
- Probs saw on Instagram… One of the biggest in the world
- Bungee, Swing, Catapult options
- Bit pricey but worth it, and Video purchase 100% worth it
- Offers bunch of times- but plan on four hours (We left 0840 back by 12)
- Nevis swing: can be done in tandems
- Nevis catapult: “Biggest human catapult in the world”
FYI
- ARRIVE at Nevis location: put your stuff in lockers (BYO lock)
- Can bring phone- will have a very small place to store on platform outside
- Have someone record from platform!
- Go pros permitted but you’re liable
- They have a wall of shame of smashed cameras!
- Purchase the video its well worth it
- JUMP!
Before the Jump FYI
- Food before- nothing open early in Queenstown except McDonalds
- Check in email night before- confirms time & asks to show up early
- Time scheduled is when you meet @ AJ hacket store downtown (no parking)
- Some parking on Sydney St- watch time limit signs
- 45min bus drive to Nevis location
- (stops @ Kawarau location halfway for drop off/pickup)
- If you need parking- email ahead of time- Park at Kawarau location and bus will pick you up from there to NEVIS
2)Kawarau Bridge
- Bungy height is wayyyy shorter
- Offers Ziplining option but no swing or catapult
