Hamilton Island: where to eat and drink

All Restaurants and info here  

  • EVERYTHING through the app: reservations, times, if rich ppl rented out the whole thing, etc 
  • Reservations required: Boomie restaurant, Romanos, Manta ray, pool terrace, coca chu 
  • Easy to find buggy parking at all places 

WEST SIDE:

Boomies, Marina Tavern, Romanos, Manta

  • Romanos: nice Italian, need to book well in advance- try before your trip  
  • Boomie: bar and restaurant are separate. 
    • 1. Boomie Restauarant: expensive 3 course meal-worth every penny.
      • Wagu steak= best meal ever had.
      • Reservation req well in advance 
      • App says ladies no sandals but that’s not true 
    • 2. Boomie Deck:
      • GREAT cocktails & amazing view on water-
      • Can see some turtles swim by 
      • Great sunset spot despite a little island blocking the full view 
  • Manta ray: Rezy. GREAT sea food & cocktails on the harbor water front.
    • Says no sandals but nah
    • Need Rezy 
  • Marina tavern- Walk in- classic pub, great burgers and beers. Some TVs.  
    • Watch out for birds occasionally swooping in on your food.  
    • Can order/pay via QR code app or at the counter 

EAST side/ resorts

One tree hill: Small bar @ Top of hill= AMAZING pano views of island

  • Perfect for sunset 
  • Only open afternoon- sunset. No food, just drinks only 
  • Sunset spot not exclusive to bar 
  • Shuttle stop @ location, buggy parking      
  • Gets crowded fastttttt and not a ton of seating 
  • App says you have to hike but that’s not true  

Pool Terrace- Inside the Reef View Hotel

  • Rezy
  • Nice dinner spot (breakfast for hotel only)  

Inside Resort Centre 

  • Sails: great restaurant simple burgers & sandwiches, good cocktails.
    • Overlooks pool and ocean.  
    • Offers reservations but easy walk in from the pool.  
  • Pool bar/Island bar: swim up pool bar next to sails restaurant.
    • GREAT cocktails and vibes 
    • Tip: use apple watch to pay- keep your stuff dry out of the pool 
    • Lot of kids usually  
    • Coca Chu: Thai- restaurant reservation required 

CAFES

  • Koolah Café: great coffee shop with snacks 
  • Marina café: next to cruiswhit dock-
    • can get coffee before excursions
    • veryyyyyy slow and packed.
