WEST SIDE
- Electric Beach
- Snorkel spot, early morning 7-9am chance of seeing dolphins
- Might need to bring a board to get far out enough
- Electric beach next to power plant= warmer water and attracts fish
- Lots of swimming and better for experienced snorkelers
- Makaha Beach Park
- Nice relaxing spot
- Great snorkeling- good chance to see turtles & dolphins in the AM
- Surf spot. Also great for sunsets
- Dive guide: site is far surface swim. Rec booking a boat or tour
EAST SIDE
- Waimanalo Bay
- Beautiful beach. Biggest Oahu beach parking area!
- Lanikai beach
- East side relaxing beach great for sunrise
- Parking can be hard due to nearby Lanikai Pillbox hike
- Kaneohe bay
- Good Snorkel spot: calm water, reef surrounds the bay
