  • Takes 3 days of itinerary- hard to get to
  • Closest airport: Surat Thani (URT) + 2hrs bus
    • small airport, domestic only
  • Phuket, Krabi: 3-4 hours bus, taxi
  • Easiest, most affordable tour-Smiley Koh Sok

Getting here

  • Need transport to Cheow Lan Pier
  • Then 1 hr longboat to Cheow Lan Lake
  • Boats leave early in morning so have to do overnight in town near Pier
    • towns: Khao Sok jungle, Phanom

Smiley Camp

  1. One night in town near Pier
  2. Next day boat to Cheow Lan Lake
    • all day activities
  3. Stay night on bungaloo on the lake
  4. Next day long return home
